Malbec Day

Malbec is actually an old French variety, also known as Côt or Pressac. It is no longer quite as relevant in France as it used to be. Instead, it has established itself in South America, especially in Argentina. The weather conditions there are perfect for the grapes.

Argentina is by far the largest growing region for Malbec, which has existed there since the middle of the 19th century. In an effort to promote the Argentine wine industry, a viticultural school was founded in Mendoza on April 17, 1853. The founding day is still celebrated today - as is Malbec Day, which falls on the same date.

We are also celebrating this day with you and are offering you up to -20% off Malbec!
