2019 Collines de L'If
The selection for this 2019, the second wine of L’If, is based on terroir, coming from vines on colluvial soils which account for half of the vineyard. This shows a little evolution on the nose, with some degraded cherry notes, along with leather and dried berries. A modestly textured palate follows, structured with fading grip, concluding with a charming sense of purity in the finish. This is drinking now, or at least soon.
