Classified in the 2012 ranking, this 3ha estate is owned by Philipp Faniest. Its vines are planted on clay-limestone soils close to Troplong Mondot. This has lovely autumnal raspberry and blackberry fruits with liquorice root and tannins that are broad and strong but flexible, and they will soften over the next three or four years. Matured in 90% new oak. (Decanter)
