This has a steely grip enrobed in white flowers, embodying the Riesling trick of delivering real intensity of flavour combined with low alcohol. Full of energy, white pear, citrus, slate, quince, lime zest, has zing and lift, drawn out density and lightness, brings home what minerality feels like with its scrapingly juicy finish. There is power here but also a weightlessness, and clear ageing potential. A Grand Cru monopole, exclusively sold through the Place de Bordeaux. Kept at the estate for 24 months after bottling. Indigenous yeast fermentation, aged in large oak casks.
