2019 Brane Cantenac Blanc
White pear, elderflower and citrus notes, good persistency with a slate texture that adds minerality and tension. This is sappy and enticing, from 3.2ha of clay-dominant land that was classified Haut-Médoc at the last revision of the appellation boundaries. Integral vinification in barrel for 25% (mainly 500l barrels), the rest in vats with some lees stirring. This is the first full vintage, after a small quantity produced as a trial in 2018. Loire clones of Sauvignon Blanc.
