The aromas of clove, bark, wet earth and red beets give this a dark and complex personality. On the very concentrated palate, this has more than enough ripeness to carry the serious tannin structure, and this balancing act reminds me of Pomerols from a cooler vintage. The long, firm finish suggests this has a lot of aging potential. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
