2016 Clos Dubreuil
Inky in colour, with rich and enticing aromatics, touch of ripe tomatoes, black cherry, blackberry, olive tapendade, all with a delicious earthy and sweet edge. A clear standout in the lineup. If you are just hearing about Clos Dubreuil after its elevation to Grand Cru Classé, this is the vintage to get hold of, although it is not quite ready to drink and will benefit from a few more years in bottle. Michel Rolland consultant. 60% new oak from this point, as the percentage has been brought down.
