2015 Rätzelhaft
The 2015 Rätzelhaft is a Riesling with a touch of Pinot Blanc, all coming from Piesport. Fermented in Doppefuder and Fuder oak vats as well as in stainless steel, this wine opens with an attractive clear, fresh and slatey-pure bouquet of ripe seed fruits and refreshing lemon aromas. Intense but light on the palate, this is a round and juicy white with fine tannins, good acidity and an intense finish. (Wine Advocate)
