2015 Falstaff Vineyard Pinot Noir
A slightly riper nose is composed by notes of plum, violet, sandalwood, anise and Asian-style spiced tea. There is more volume, power and mid-palate concentration to the sappy and delicious medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth on the serious, balanced and clearly built-to-age finale. This is indisputably in need of bottle age and I wouldn't think of opening one of these beauties before it has at least 5 years under its belt and 10 would not be too much. (Burghound)
