The 2010 Trockenbeerenauslese Saziani Essenz (6% alcohol) opens with a highly concentrated, ripe, clear and peppery nose with fine botrytis, raisin and vanilla aromas. Smooth, round, sweet and almost creamy on the terribly rich and highly elegant palate, this Essencia has a super fine, lingering acidity and a long, salty finish. This is another legend and it will still be one in 2100. One of the finest sweet wines I have tasted from Austria. It is of high precision and intensity. (Wine Advocate)
