2000 Secundum Vintage Port Halbfl.
Dark crimson with black notes. Treacly suave nose. Like the standard Niepoort, massive sweetness on the front of the palate but this wine is more restrained, more tightly furled and perhaps slightly less intense. Very dry finish. One for the Brits?! Treacle toffee cousin of the above but lighter. (Jancis Robinson)
